Commentary Very rudimentary dipinto of a “stick figure,” located in the lower right quadrant of the back wall of Bay 29. The outline is made of several thick lines that define a short and squat torso, short arms, and long legs. To the left of the figure is a small shield, rendered in thick, vertical lines. Around the head of the figure, a wavy pattern might identify a wreath, suggesting that this is the representation of a victorious gladiator, a simplified version of dipinto D29.2.
