| Commentary: | Graffito of a building, located on the eastern face of Pier A100. It depicts a stylized façade of a building, possibly a temple or a basilica. The façade comprises six columns rendered with simple vertical lines, without any indications of bases or capitals, as standing on a stereobate without steps. A triangle above them represents a pediment or roof that culminates in a round shape, possibly a sculptural decoration. The façade extends further at both sides of the roofing with an additional vertical line to the left, two to the right. These lines are possibly meant to represent two portici flanking the building on its long sides. |
