Apparatus Criticus: | 1. It is impossible to say if this is an example of just the word “eyes” being used in thanksgiving for healing, or if some more substantial syntactic framework was provided. 2. There may have been other letters to left or right, now completely faded. 3. ἐ̣π̣ύ̣γ̣ισα is not impossible. If that is the reading, the suspicion that these lines are not all connected is confirmed. |
