Apparatus Criticus: The letters are all clumsily made, and we have debated whether they are letters at all. The word πλῆθος is, however, highly plausible in this context, where spectators appear in D28.8 and perhaps a spectator in D29.3. There is no compound word ὁλοπλῆθος known, and it seems more prudent to suppose ὅλο(ν) πλῆθος (“the whole people”) than to invent a new word.
